91 suburban doors
Hi guys, I'm looking for a set of complete front drive and passenger doors off of a 1991 suburban... the ones with the power mirrors that sit behind the vent window. I'm trying to get these to put on a 1986 chevy 454 single wheel 4X4 build that i'm doing. I've looked all over and am striking out everywhere i turn. I'm looking to pay around 400 for both doors with the door panel in tact with all off the window motors and what not working. I'd really appreciate any help! Let me know what you guys got. THANKS

Re: 91 suburban doors
Best thing I can offer is to check www.car-part.com It's a search engine for wrecking yards nationwide.
BTW Your post may well get edited by a staff member since you're not a paid subscriber and thusly posting threads that deal with selling, buying, what's it worth are prohibited by non paid members of the site. You've just joined I see by the amount of posting you got as I type this (2) But trust me for a measly $25.00 per year and all the wealth of information and experiance by others on the site is worth way more. So c'mon ante' up yer gonna love it!!! BTW#2 welcome to the site!!!!!!

Re: 91 suburban doors
Chris... I'd definitely want to see some pictures and / video of things working before paying the $500. If you can, try to get some pictures posted on here and then we can discuss shipment from there. I live in ohio so I'm sure the shipping would be pretty ridiculous. If you get a chance private message me and I can give you my contact information to make the process move along more quickly THANKS

Well seeing as your name is now blue and not pink, I'm guessing you found the link to be a paid subscriber. Glad to see it and I'm sure you'll enjoy your time on here. I know I have and continue to.

Re: 91 suburban doors
$500 for both doors, everything works... I'm already planning on painting the entire truck so color isn't really an issue. The guy will help remove and take all the factory wiring out with me so that I can just install... but I have to give him my current doors off my truck with the $500. What do you guys think?

Re: 91 suburban doors
I'd say $400. plus your doors. Although after looking at the doors listed in Ohio on www.car-part.com priced from $100.00 each to as high as $250.00 each, I'd say you've got a little bit of room to haggle.
