I am new to the board, what a great site. I have been looking at everyone else's rigs for a few months while I worked on mine. I have had this one for about five years, but haven't had time to mess with it until the last year or so. Building took a huge nosedive here, so consequently, I have had much more time. This blazer is a 72, I bought it with a fresh 454, but no interior. I have done alot of stuff to the interior this year, but no real money for body and paint, so just a lot of waxing on the outside. It still shines pretty good for 39 year old paint. Oh and new wheels and tires last month, what a transformation, also a soft top.

Thanks, I like the white soft top too. I debated for a long time, but I just like the white better, not to mention that some of us in Oregon just can't go things that are orange and black.

It is a Softopper. I bought it online from softopper. The service was great. The installation instructions weren't so good, but I got it on.

I put a 4 inch Rough Country lift on (cheapest I could find, but in retrospect, maybe not the best idea, though it is fine) a couple years ago, but the back was higher than the front and I had rear driveline vibration. So I added a 4 degee shim in the rear, which also adds a little height, and I also put on a 1 inch zero rate block in the front to level it out. The tires are 315/70 R17. They are 35s. The odd combo of lift has worked good, the tires clear easily.
