leaky doors ?
guys,
do any of your trucks leak water when it rains, around the door weather stripping ? i have new weather stripping in my 57 and it still leaks. i have heard from others that these old trucks obviously were not made like the new trucks are today, and never really sealed well even when new. just curious how many of you have this same problem ? thanks. leonard

Re: leaky doors ?
Its usually from not having the latch set to let the door close all the way. And if its set properly you have to slam the .... out of it to close it. You could try some heavy paper around the seal area. Make some 1 inch strips and stick it inbetween the door seal area and close the door see if you can pull it out easy. You have to work around the whole opening. If it pulls out easy the seal is not contacting the body.
