Never buying parts from CPP again...
I ordered their side fill hose kit and there are 3 things wrong here...
1. Supposed to have gotten 4 clamps and only got three 2. their idea of an "adapter" from 1.5" hose to 2" hose is a 4" long steel pipe in 1.5"...meaning you're supposed to clamp the heck out of thick wall 2" hose until it fits. I've seen flared exhaust adapters that would work better. 2. supposed to be 2 foot of 1.5" FUEL hose and 6" of 2" FUEL hose. The problem here is that the hose sent says "soft wall marine wet exhaust hose" right on the side. Good looking hose but is it good for fuel? I looked online and the same brand makes a fuel filler specific hose and the heck of it is, it really isn't different in price. Yep, I'm not happy, but the reality here is this...I don't want any other guys on the board looking to do a side fill conversion to fall into this trap and order something that is not what is advertised.

Re: Never buying parts from CPP again...
I've had better than good dealings with them multiple times, I'm sure if you call them they will remedy the issue, which kit? any pics? could be a problem with their supplier as well, I know they use western chassis spindles and a lot of them are famous for needing grinding for clearances etc but if you ask CPP will replace them. I know where you're coming from though, when a guy buys something and it's not as advertised or expecting I'm sure I'd being saying the same

Re: Never buying parts from CPP again...
I'm sure they havn't done this to every customer, but if you look where this post was moved to, it seems that every third post is about how CPP messed something up. I didn't even know there was a "bad deal review board" on this site until now! If I had seen this CPP chaos before I'd have never ordered from them.
