I have them on my truck. I bought mine from Jegs form about $134. Watch out for leaks around the heads. I had to get a big leak welded there. Also there might be some weld spots in the way of the bolts that keep them from going all the way in. I only had trouble with one of those though. Also get some rust proof locking bolts. The ones they come with are a pain to tighten and they are rusting on mine and they have only been on there for about six months.

I personally like my Dynomax coated headers. They are about the only things nice on my truck.

Summit #WLK-86001 and they cost $229. They are the best price for coated headers that are of good quality.

I have the 79.95 Autozone special Flowtech headers. Had 'em on about 8 months and no problems so far.

I will admit, the welds sure do look terrible. Had someone ask if I made them at home. :p

Got a set for my truck. Just put 'em on this week. I bought them for a getmeby until I can build a real engine that requires big primaries and longevity. For $80 it was cheaper (considering scavenge time) than getting a manifold off a donor to replace what my "exhaust professional" did several years back.

hey big red,

how do you like those headers...
im getting a set soon and the toss up was between dynomax and the flowtech_Afterburner......

how do they fit and perform fo you....my engine is stock so im not expecting a huge performance increase...

any words on that would ROCK!

later
