1972 3/4 ton 4x4 SB To BB Conversion Pictures

Does anyone have any advice or pictures for converting a 1972 3/4 ton 4x4 from a 350sb to a 402bb with HEI? What kind of (year) bick block engine mounts do I need? How far does the engine need to be from the firewall? Can I use the same radiator that came with the sb? Is there anything else I am missing?

What was the guy's board name who did this? He put a big block in a Blazer. His buddy had/has a 3/4 ton he converted to a 1-ton with 73-87 parts.

Some guys with 4x4s end up having to "clearance" the firewall. Other guys got their big blocks in with a mild body lift. Other guys claim they fit with no modifications.

There are threads out there. Maybe you need to try a few different searches.

I am hoping all it takes is to move the engine cradle ahead two inches and use the 1972 big block 2wd towers. If not I have a set of 67-71 big block towers I could also use. I wish I could find some pictures of the conversion as well.
