BB exhaust

I need stock exhaust for my 72 GMC BB truck before I can even drive it, so my question is, does anyone know if you can buy stock exhaust for a 72 GMC 402 swb over the counter?

Re: BB exhaust

I have never seen any. For a couple of my trucks I have had to go through several parts trucks to find the brackets, straps, and hangers to find the 2 sets. Then I found a local guy who has been doing exhaust work for 30+ years and he said he would bend the pipes correctly to the best of his ability.

About 20 years ago you could still buy prebent pipes manufactured by Walker for our trucks w/ dual exhaust. These weren't aluminized, just mild steel and sometimes painted a battleship gray with paper sticker around it. Depending on usage and if you lived in the snow belt, these would last about 5 years.

Do you have any pics of how he ran your's or pics of a factory set-up. I need to know the correct routing and how it exits on my mine as well.
