GMC Late Model Rear End Install

Hello,

Looking for some advise, prints, sketches, pictures on how to install a late model rear end in my 50 GMC. I would like to be able to make the brakets myself and purchase a good set of S-10 springs or some other leaf spring from the salvage yard. Appreciate any help I can get.

what size truck? if you want an 8 lug the ford 16 paasenger van rear works great. I imagine that you want one for a 1/2 I am sure

Sorry about that. Yea its a 1/2 ton (GMC 100) I met a guy the other day that put exlorer spings in he purchaed hanger/mounts somewhere but I did get that info. I thought S-10 springs might work? Thanks!
