I believe those are called stud girders. Reinforce/strengthen the studs where the rockers are attatched.

a 3/4" crank? How the hell do they get 600+cid with only a 3/4" stroke crank. Hell, a 454 uses a 4" stroke crank, this crank is supposed to be 3 1/4" less stroke?!?!?!

Seriously though, Im sure its more like a 4.5-4.75" stroke crank. Thats got to be one hell of a exspencive engine to use a huge stroke like that and run 8200rpm.

yea me and steve (my son) are waiting for some brackets from summit to day ,,,next day ship ...so we can drop it in ... have a ton of header work to do once its in ...yes will take sound clips of the beast....my new camera takes movies with sound,,, should be cool.....mark
