Headers Will they fit??

I have a pair of headers that came off of a 77 chevy c10 and was wandering if they would fit my 65 c10? Getting ready to drop the 350 that came out of that same truck into my 65. Wanted to see if they would fit before i put motor in. Hoping they will that way i wont have to buy a new set lol.

Are they long tube or block huggers?

Re: Headers Will they fit??

the long tubes also hang down a lot, if you are lowering it a bunch you will want to use some shortys.

Re: Headers Will they fit??

It depends on the brand of the headers. Most all of the headers for the '73-'87 trucks will fit the '63-'72 trucks. The issue will be whether or not they will work with the clutch bellcrank that is used in your truck. If you can post a pic of the drivers side header, I can give you somewhat of an idea. If you were switching to an autonmatic transmission, there would be no issue. Of course as Kieth mentioned, they will hang below the frame a little.
