1969 the summer of restore...

Well, I love to work on stuff but hate that it takes a while... make no sense what so ever...

I bought my 69 C10 LWB back in Feb of this year. After searching all over the place. I started working on it the second I got it home. It was in decent shape but was showing signs of her age. Rotted out floor in some area's, Rocker panels were swiss cheese and body need to be completely sanded and painted fresh. All molding was oxidized and/or bent. So the tear down started.

The pictures are of various stages.. had to weld up holes from old mirrors, repaired and sealed floor, rocker panels and the primed pic is as of yesterday. Now to sand get ready for paint...

Thanks man... I will post more... I just picked up some white paint today for the letters on the Tailgate... Will post more as I go along..

Well after 3 med coats and 4 coats of clear here she is. I'm pretty happy with the outcome especially the letters as that took some time to tape those off...

I need better pics... these are all taken from my iPhone... No I shot this properly 3 coats of base and 4 of clear... it's just ****ty pic's from the phone... As soon as I can get more I will snap some...

She still needs to be cut and buff but I just finished it on Sunday so need to give it about a week..

Thanks for the words guys... Only my second car I ever painted.. My first was a 31 ford single stage Hot rod Flatz... completely different animal when shooting 2 stage...
