Vent Window conversion for 86 C-20
Brothers has a mod kit to get rid of the vent windows on my 86. I have looked at mine and an 88. They look it would be a direct fit. Has anyone converted those windows? Do you think an 88-94 window would fit that track to get rid of the vent windows. I changed the rubber gasket on both windows the rubber is not properly flattened where the the vent window should seat. After installing the new rubber I can’t use the vent windows anymore, I would have to use a screwdriver to lift the window to close them.
What’s sad about the whole ordeal I ordered from Steele Rubber, they were the exact same as LMC but cost three times as much. Thanks for any help |

Where would I find a replacement window if that broke? It's hard to believe that is a custom fabrication for that cheap of a price.
