4" drop leaf spring ?
I have been buying my parts to finally fix up my truck. I have a 94 Chevy SWB that at some point I had put a 4" drop on the rear with leaf springs that I believe are belltech. With just that drop the truck bottoms out but that could be due to bad shocks. I am wanting to go 2" more with shackles for a total of 6" with a C-notch and of course new shocks for lowered trucks. Has anyone had a bad experience as far as ride with a drop by using leafsprings. I am wondering if I should get a hold of stock leaf springs and then buy a flip kit. What is your thought. Let me know thanks.

Re: 4" drop leaf spring ?
Get your shackles and c-notch and enjoy it. I had a 5/8 on my '91 and drove it that way for ~5 years and 100,000 or so miles. The 8" was achieved with 4" leafs, shackles, hangers and a c-notch. Never gave me any troubles.

. I am hopefully going to start my build here in a few weeks. I am waiting on my front springs to do the front and then the rear.
