dipstick woes!
been trying to help a buddy with his 56' chevy with 350/ 250 turbo trans combo and the dipstick for the transmission seems to be a real pain. checked into the lokar flexable unit and read some bad reviews on it, is their anyone else that makes an aftermarket one that might work? also does anyone know if the dipstick for a 350 turbo is the same because if they are one out of a van might be the ticket. these 250's are hard to find any info on as they really lack any following and are light duty. thanks.

Re: dipstick woes!
The 250s were put behind 6 cylinder motors, weren't they? Doubt if it will live long behind a SB.

Re: dipstick woes!
I used a dip stick out of a 85 chevy van, they are shorter and hug the trans housing better.
but even with that, I had to modify the bend of the tube to my needs.
