A Good Book?

The more I visit this site and the more I work on my truck the more possessed I become. I would like to learn as much as I could about them. Can you guys recommend any good books on their history? Thanks!

Re: A Good Book?

My suggestion would be to look at a book such as The Standard Catalog of Chevrolet Trucks, 1918 to 1995. Hopefully, there's an updated version. John Gunnell was supposedly working on a sequel, at one time. Beyond that, go to your local library and check the Card Catalog...it'll be on a computer, unless you live far enough back in the sticks that sunlight has to be piped in....

Chevy has been around since 1911. I can guarantee you that there's plenty of easily-found reading material to be had.

In fact, you can use the computer that you're reading this on and Google "History of Chevrolet Trucks". But, that book I mentioned in the first paragraph is a good one to buy and keep in your bathroom, er library...for reading material.

Another good one is, Chevrolet Pickups 1946-1972, by John Gunnell. Joseph
