Before and In progress

Spent more than four hours rubbing wheels and had to take a few pix. I started looking at old photos and realized it's got a long way to go, but compared to when I brought it home last fall and I think we've come a long way.

First I worked them over real good with an SOS pad. Then wet sanded with 400 grit. Next, I used Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish and a Power Cone. Finally, a good coat of wax (I had Turtle Wax)

Re: Before and In progress

Thanks for the info ,I will try that when I have time .My wheels were given to me by my stepdad over 20 years ago ,he's gone now but those wheels will be in my possession til I die .He was really more of a dad to me than my real dad and I always made sure he knew that .He loved me just like his own 2 sons ,maybe better since I got to see him more as they were grown and lived a far piece away .His wheels deserve to shine again. I didnt mean to ramble on but he was very special to me and died to soon from cancer.
