Anyone running 15x10" wheels (Preferabley Truck Rallies) with a 2.5" - 4" drop?

Hey guys I'm seriously thinking of getting the 15x10" truck rallies. I have 15x8" rallies now but I want to go with a big tire in the back without it looking too much like a donut.

My objective is to get the widest tire I can without rubbing. I still want it to appear stock with just a touch of the hot rod look. That's why I'm staying with the truck rallies.

I would also like the tire to tuck under the rear fender well IF I can manage this without rubbing. (the tubbed look without the tub.)

My truck has the 2.5" front - 4" rear drop.

I was wondering if anyone was running the 15x10" truck rallies with the 2.5" - 4" drop. If so would you mind posting a few pictures as well as your tire size, and wheel size with the backspacing.

Thanks guys!

Re: Anyone running 15x10" wheels (Preferabley Truck Rallies) with a 2.5" - 4" drop?

With a 15x10 wheel with 5" bs and 295/50/15 you will have about 1/4" clearance on the outside and a 1" clearance on the inside in the rear. 4'" drop won't tuck tire. I have a 7" rear drop with this setup and the top of the tire is even with the fender lip.

You may be looking for a taller tire though. Sorry don't have any pics yet.

measure up what you have now then use a tire/rim calculator to fine out what will fit YOUR truck.....

the calculators are everywhere like tire rack just google it

try this one

Re: Anyone running 15x10" wheels (Preferabley Truck Rallies) with a 2.5" - 4" drop?

I am running 295 50 15s on my 8" rallies now and they are waaaaaay too short. I really would like to see pictures of the 15x10s tucking tires just so it will give me a real idea of how it will look. Thanjs for the tire calculator. It will get me close but I want to be certain before I spend the cash.

Anyone out there tucking rear tires running 15x10s?

Those tires look like the perfect width. I would just like that back tire a little bit taller maybe.

Do you have any side profile pictures?

Thanks!

Re: Anyone running 15x10" wheels (Preferabley Truck Rallies) with a 2.5" - 4" drop?

It seems that it doesn't matter if I'm running 8" wheels or 10" wheels. Either way the tallest and widest tire I can run is the 295/65-15.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MTT-3762R/

Tire Diameter 30.00 in.
Section Width 11.90 in.
Tread Width 10.90 in.
Minimum Recommended Wheel Width 8.00 in.

Wont tuck tires unless I do a flip kit... Oh well... Any suggestions? besides the obvious? thanks.

I have a pair of 15x10 Rallys with 5" backspace. What front wheels are most running with the 15x10's ? 15x6.5 or 15x7?

Yeah! I like that look! I also read a post that said u had stock fenderwells, stock reared, etc right? So if I get 15x10s 5" bs with 315/60-15s they should bolt right up with no problems. Right?

I also found out that the 315/60s are only 1 inch wider from what I read. Now I have to decide if it is worth buying a set of 10" rallies. Hmmmm... decisions decisions.

They're not rally's, but they are 10's...

15x7's up front with 235/60r15's
15x10's out back with 295/50r15's

I'm not sure of the backspace...

Where can I buy the 15x10 rallies? I have 295/50/15's on my 8" rims and they just don't look good.

Hey Thacker, where did you get the side-pipes, and are they functional?
Nice truck buddy...
