windshield trim replacement

Can you replace just the chrome perimeter insert trim without removing the windshield?

if yes.....is it hard to do?

Mine is rusty looking, but my windhsield is perfect with no cracks.

Yes. You need the tool though. I have this one and it's always worked fine for me. They run about 15 bucks.

Well I finally ordered the trim and tool and got it installed today. The trim wasnt hard to install, took about 30min....made a huge difference.
