Going back to stock height question

So, I've been pondering it for a long time and I think I've come to the conclusion that I would like to go back to stock height. Anyway, when I went with the 2/4 drop, I installed shock relocators. Do I need to re-install the factory shock mounts? Or, will I be okay to leave the relocators on?

Thanks!

Raise the truck back up & measure the distance between the shock mounts. Compare that dimension w/the shocks length (max compression, max extension, middle of travel) & you'll know.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Would the shock angle be different or if it was it wouldn't matter?

As the truck is lowered, the shock angle changes. The relocators restore some of that 'change' & allow for more travel. Raising it back up w/the upper mount still in place would likely allow for a slightly different angle vs stock.

Does it matter? It would prob be a wash or slight improvement as it would likely position the shock a little closer to vertical.
