pitman arm issue
I am replacing the manual steering box on my truck with a power steering setup and I cannot get the pitman arm to go into the center link. To me, it appears that the pitman arm is about 1/2" too long. Were there different length pitman arms for power steering? My truck is 2wd. I've tried to get it in there with the wheels straight, at full lock both left and right and it just won't go. Any advice?

Re: pitman arm issue
The manual and power steering pitman arms are different (not sure of the difference though). If you changed the steering box I think you would need to change the pitman arm as well. That's probably your problem.

Re: pitman arm issue
I have the power steering pitman arm on the truck now. I ordered a new one when I ordered the box. I'll take a picture tonight.
