My 1969 chevy panel
Hi, guys I am asking a question in advance, I have a panel that needs some cosmetic work, I have new quarter panels for it.
It has a 472 caddy motor and turbo 400, and I am in the process of firing it up, and putting the tires and wheels back on it. I will post pictures, when I get it rolling. I found one that, has all the body work done, and painted, minus motor and tranny, that is a rolling chasis. And I bought a 454, for it all ready. And I am lazy, and can't do body work very good, and time is a premuim, these days. And I have three old bronco's, early ones, and a 1970 suburban, that where my interest lay. Is there any interest in the panel, I need advice. thanks vikingthor Last edited by gcburdic; 07-20-2011 at 09:41 PM. |

Re: My 1969 chevy panel
first off vikingthor... and to the boards from NC....
Sounds like a cool project, but I'm wih you...the next project I do, will be a rolling resto Panel's are a unique vehicle so the interest in these are not as crazy as say a shortbed truck, but I think the right person will be along to take one off your hands

I think you will soon be spanked for implying that you have something to sell while being here on a free membership. Admin is very sensitive at these boards and allow neither "what's it worth?" posts nor any inquiry about needing a specific part unless you are a paid member.... Just thought you should know!

No, I didn't know that, and that's good info. I have never seen the pay part,
that I know of, and just wanting the guys to have the first shot at a collectors item since they never have made many of these trucks. And to get a little conversation going, thanks again, and I will wait for the onslaught of my wrong doing. vikingthor |

All kidding aside, becoming a member costs 25/year and allows you to sell leftover parts or list a vehicle for sale with thousands of enthusiast in just the part/vehicle you are trying to sell as well as all of the top search engine hits...it's a small price to pay to get that much exposure!!!

Re: My 1969 chevy panel
thanks for the reply VA72C10....
AzDon....it's not our intent to be mean and vicious, thus the reasoning for my edit....I try to give all member's the benefit of the doubt about having read the site rules...our "sensitivity" is to keep a well managed board where folks feel they can converse, fellowship, and talk anything trucks (as long as it's within the rules of the board)...kinda like house rules...we all have them right??...we have a "site feedback" forum too that you can air out any issues AND/OR compliments to the board admin and staff about site rules, conduct of admin and staff, etc.....please feel free to use it....it's our report card on how we are doing, and your way of improving this board vikingthor....here's the link if you are interested in becoming a subscribing member...as mention there are more opportunities once subscribed to take full advantage of the boards...let us know if we can help ya out

Re: My 1969 chevy panel
I'm the original developer and operator of v-driveboat.com, a boating online community, which has operated quite well since 1997 without overly oppressive rules. We have one level of supportive membership that even businesses can join for $15/yr and allows unlimited classifieds. "Whats it worth?" Or "I need a ___" is not considered cheating or spam.
I've seen the rates here and I've been spanked here and I know the rules basically require that a paid member hasta be selling before I dare express any desire to locate parts I need here. I was just warning as I had been warned! Sorry! |

Re: My 1969 chevy panel
goto your ad here look in the upper right hand corner for the pull down menu "product options"...should be an edit option in there....if not, let me know what you want to do exactly, and I'll take care of it.
