'86 chevy check engine light/ADL connector
I have a '86 chevy 454, manual tranny, 4x4 1 ton with dump box. I was just putzing around the yard with it, all first gear stuff, park it, shut it off and load the box up. While doing this the check engine light (located where a diesel glow plug light would be) came on. Truck still seemed to run fine. I looked below the dash by my left knee for a ADL (think thats right?) connector to jump A and B pins but didn't see it. Were they located anywhere else? If it has a check engine light it should have one of these connectors correct?

Re: '86 chevy check engine light/ADL connector
Since it's carb'd, it's either low oil pressure, low voltage or getting hot.
