long to short bed
thinking about cutting down my c-20 long wood bed. anyone done this(im sure)? wondering where i have to cut. in front of wheels? rear part behind wheels the same length with long and short? do i need to split and take out excess or can i take off front where header panel is? any input appreciated. thanx rich

alot more attempts at this end up in the dumpster rather than prime examples of completed work
a huge job make no mistake you need to b excellent at measuring cutting and above all else welding

It's really not that big of a deal. I have done a couple. As long as you can weld and have the right tools you can do it. 12 inches under the cab, 8 off the very rear of the frame, move rear cab mounts forward, shorten driveshaft, brake lines wires etc.. Pretty straightforward.
