Re: save or scrap

Take it apart and check it out. Are the bed slats salvagable? Wheels housings? Back panel? Cross ties? It may not be good as a complete bed but the pieces may be useable for someone.

Yard art lol. I also have a parts truck in my fenced in back yard. It had several grills and other parts in the bed that the girlfriend took and screwed to the inside of the fence lol

Re: save or scrap

Looks plenty workable to me. The bedside may be toast under all that mud, but I still would fix it if I needed it.

Re: save or scrap

Some changing from steel floor to wood floor could use some of those parts, like me!

Re: save or scrap

The one on the 69 K/1500 I just picked up recently was ate up with rust, but a buddy needed the right rear corner and the front panel (it was perfect, no rust and straight). So save what you can, somebody will always need it, eventually!

Re: save or scrap

I would keep it with the intent of making a trailer out of it and if someone needed the parts well I'd decide then if I wonted to part with it. No if you have a place to store it keep it.
