Rear end swap Question
Has anyone heard of putting a 68-72 model Chevelle rear under a 55 2nd series pickup. My stock rear measures 62" wide and the Chevelle is 62.5" wide. Seems to be pretty close. I am building a cruiser with a Chevy 350 and TH350. not worried about power. any advise or pics would help. Thanks Nate

Re: Rear end swap Question
You might post over in the 47-59 area, if you don't get a response here.
I haven't done this swap,... so I'm no help.

Re: Rear end swap Question
It's the same as any rear swap....
The dimensions would work for you as would the popular f-body 10-bolt from 70-81. Just remove the brackets &/or relocate new ones to work w/your suspension.
