Hei is smooooth!
Wow, what a difference! Just followed everyones advice and its done...too simple! Started and idled without the choke, idled around the block in 3rd gear without chuggin' and bumpin'. Acceleration very positive and sure...like it
should. Everyone that does it says the same thing and I'm sorry I doubted you all....so I deserve the I told you so's. I'm gonna say I recommend this first and formost of all upgrades....very nice. |

I wish my 327 with HEI would start and run like that. Doesnt want to start after it sits for a week.

Yep, you are so right! Got a spare set of manifolds gettin' cleanned up for install and power steering in the wings. Then maybe I'll start thinkin' about the rust! The HEI is amazing though. I hope the other things go as smooth.
