spindle question

just got a c30 dually and want to bag it but am looking for drop spindles to change to disc brakes. most say to but 73 to 87 1 ton drop spindles and ball joints and brakes. will it work? are 1/2 ton and 1 ton drop spindles the same? just different rotors for the dually? thanks

Re: spindle question

No, the spindles for a C10 are not the same as for a C30. Within the '73-'87 trucks, the control arms are the same between the C20's and the C30's. You just need the C30 dually spindles, rotors, calipers, etc. The swap is essentially the same as on a C10, just with C30 parts instead.
