There are screws from the back side of the wheel. (edit; that's for a 65 deluxe wheel)

Pull the horn button out of the center (clips hold it in) and then you will see 3 screws inside.

Remove the center portion of the ring (arrow in pic) it just pops off, and there are 3 screws behind it. Those will release the ring. Then pull the wheel and mail it to me.lol

Re: How do you remove the horn ring????

yep, pretty much just whack the center buttonb (with something soft) to knock it loose or "rock" it off to expose the innards. Recommend disconnecting your battery or you'll do what I do to myself everytime I remove a horn ring, accidentally short the thing out and hink the horn right when I least expect it causing me to have to go change my skivvies. Recommend taking the parts out one at a time and placing them "in order" on a towel or something. although it's kinda common sense, this is one of those things that's easy to put back together in the wrong order (if you're just removing the horn ring, not a problem, but I'm more talking about if you remove the whole wheel). Anyway, if your horn doesn't work (or worse yet, won't stop working) when you put it all back together, you'll wish you'd laid things out in order. Now I'VE never done that..... but I'm just sayin.

OK, I edited my post. Applies to 65 deluxe wheels (the Impala style).

Eastwood sells a nice kit of epoxy to fix the wheel. Just open the cracks and fill with the epoxy and sand to blend it all. The Eastwood kit includes a small information book to show you how.

The horn ring can be repaired by a good chrome shop. They will strip the chrome and silver solder it before preparing it for new chrome.
