Header Plug?

Hey - picked up some used headers the other day for $50. Figured they were worth a try. They look fine, but there's an approx. 3/4 inch hole down near the collector on the driver's side for what I assume is some emissions thing. How can I plug this without welding?

Would something like this work?

Re: Header Plug?

Threaded?

Probably for an O2 sensor, should take a 1/2 NPT plug available ay most any parts store.

O2 sensors aren't 1/2 NPT, they are metric IIRC. You can buy a plug that screws right in... or just thread in an old O2 to plug the hole.

Thanks. I'm not sure what the heck I was thinking about.
