im stoked ! orderd wheels and bag kit today

well i cant believe i actualy found the courage to spend the money guys i bought a set of the 22'' coys c-5 chrome with nitti 265/35 tires . not only that i also got a dominator bag kit from avs ! i have been wanting to buy these for like 5 years . story is like this . i have my own little hvac business and i keep all of the old units and scrap them at the end of the year and it covers my taxes so this year i said the first 2500$ will go to the wheels that i have wanted for so long . well i was worried that my scrap load was only going to bring about 1800$ or so because it just didnt look to be alot but thankfully i was way off i ended up making out with 3700$ WOOOOOOHOOOOOO . HAHA . what a great day it was at the scrap yard ! i was feeling so good on the way home i decided to get the bag kit while my money was up . funny thing is that i had both the wheels and the bags orderd and paid for before i even got home from the scrap yard haha . what a great day thanks for letting me share my excitement board ! ill post pics of the wheels soon.

Re: im stoked ! orderd wheels and bag kit today

ohh yes im going to get a tank ,compressor and all of the other good but see i just orderd those wheels and i want to make sure i have some cash on hand just incase something unexpected comes up when the frame starts making its way down closer to the ground . if the truck drops down smoothly then the tank and compressor will be the first in line also gives me a bit of time to shop for deals !

Right on keep us posted! How low do you want to go? Are you trying to lay frame? You cutting the bed? my plan is to not cut anything besides a mild c notch in the frame and I'm gonna run 20's

im just going as low as a bolt in cpp c-notch will go in the rear with 2'' blocks . whatever the front drops to with bags will be good for me . laying frame will happen when i have more free time . i have tons of parts to put on the truck but no time . i guess if i could get my wheels on and the body squating down over the wheels a bit i will be content for awhile

The scrap yard called and they said they made a mistake, you should have been paid 1700.00 for the load. Please send the Coys to me and I will get the problem corrected

That's awesome! I'm sitting here right now trying to pull the trigger on the remaining suspesnion parts I need and tires. I was never nervous before when I bought parts or cars, I guess having kids makes you into a worry wart. LOL

Re: im stoked ! orderd wheels and bag kit today

That's exciting 250! I am very interested to see/watch your bag install. We'll want pix!! Are you planning on drop spindles, shock relocators, and adjustable trac bar?

I am planning a similar set-up. I have a 4/6 drop kit from ECE and CCP notch. My plan was to run that static a while then replace the springs with bags when budget allowed. Hearing I can do bags for $300 may push me over the edge to do them now. Damn... more $$$

Also, the fact my frame is still on it's back I could more easily drill the big hole for the rear air bag hose fitting, and the ECE adjustable trac bar bracket doesn't work with the CCP notch when the truck is aired out - I would also be easier to solve that now.

It will with a 2" block.
Plus the 2" block will give your truck a lower "ride height".

yes i have had all of those parts new still in box haha 2.5 spindles are installed . shock relocators, traction bar, shocks (monroe ),cpp c notch,2'' lowering blocks ,etc are still in the box .
i was going to run lowerd springs for a bit but why waste the money on those parts when its going to get bags anyways right ! yep 300 from avs (jason) it just made good sence .

so please tell me more as to why the traction bar doesnt work with the cpp notch ? this is the first i have heard of this but i am new here to the board .

worry wort is not the word for it bro ! my two year old has got me pintching my pennies haha . i realy never thought i would buy these wheels but my brother in law talked me into it while the funds were there . also being that the money didnt come from the jobs that i do it made it alot easier to spend on toys . i feel guilty if i spend money on this stuff . makes me feel like im taking from my son na mean . i always try to sell toys to buy more toys .
