Need help dropping my 69

Hey yall i got a 69c10 and i want to just drop it for now and use it a my DD
so i got a lmc book and was looking and they sell drop coils for the back but mine has leaf springs on the back????? so i called styling trucks same thing they say it should have coils on the back and thats all they sell for the 69 is drop coils??????
So what do i do?? any ideas also what year did they put leafs on the back? and why does my 69 have em??? Thanks for any info

Leafs were possible. A flip kit would work, removing a couple leafs would work too. There are several vendors that specialize in suspension in these trucks. ECE (Early Classic Enterprises) would be able to help you. Actually check out the review board here to find vendors that have good and bad reputations.
Personally I like LMC's catalog but I don't like the quality of their parts or their customer service. It seems the people answering the phone are just people answering the phone, not "truck" people.

cool thanks, so i guess that was an option on the 69 leafs or coils?? or you think someone changed at one time?

It was an option on all 67-72. It seems that most Chevies came with coils, and most GMC's came with leaves but they could be ordered either way.
