Updated pictures of the '75 with its new shoes

Finally got the new wheels and tires on the '75. Wheels are 8" Rallys, blasted, powdercoated and cleared, trim rings are off our old '90 Suburban, and the center caps are new 88-98 take-offs (conversion lugs and caps). Tires are used, but like new, purchased off my friend for a very fair price. The truck runs and drives like a dream, I am very pleased! Picked up a clean used class III receiver hitch, will get the blasted/powdercoated and put on soon. But before that, I need to find a clean used sport bumper and brackets. Any leads would be appreciated, turning up nothing here!

If this doesn't scream 70's, I don't know what does...but I like it.

Very nice, Jeff. Nothing like the clean look of an original truck. Looks like she's been well care for.

Speaking of the 70s, where are the curb feelers and fuzzy dice? Don't forget the classic "foot" gas pedal too!

NICE truck!
I'm not sure how I missed the fact that you had this truck.

What's next?

Re: Updated pictures of the '75 with its new shoes

Keith, I talked the previous owner into selling it to me instead of parting it out...I felt it was too nice. All I want to do is put a sport bumper on back, fix the broken mirrors, add the hitch, repair the seat and simply drive it. Not gonna restore it, lower it, or modify it. I am thinking Power Tour 2012 would be fun in it. The A/C blows cold, has two 20 gallon tanks, and it has highway gears and drives like a dream!

J Knight...yup, fleetsides had it optional in the 70's, stepsides up until 87.

lilpoindexter...LMAO!!

VERY, VERY cool. I dig it!

I have a 81-87 GM NOS rear sport bumper but I am sure you want to keep with a 73-80 sport bumper so I will just keep mine in storage

Very nice original loaded big block truck. Glad to hear that you saved it from being parted out. I agree, it is too nice to be torn apart to bits and pieces.
Personally, I like the woodgrain sides and wood bedfloor and grey int. Did it come with the factory tach too??
I dig the fact that you're just gonna clean it up and drive it. Nice score!!

Striaight looking original pickup! The first time you posted pics of this I questioned the wood look in the center, I've kept my eyes open and have yet to see one on the road. Nice find!

Latest I seen a wood bed from the factory was a 79. I had a step-side with wood.

Great truck. I believe the wood grain is a sticker?
