Re: New to this forum here's my truck
Nice looking truck. I like your color choice. I prefer the loaded up 79/80 Silverado's, but that's just my opinion.
Don't forget to show it off when it's done. |

Re: New to this forum here's my truck
It was painted gray from new, it did have that oyster white interior though. This isn't a foactory color combo, I wanted things like they would have if been if I ordered this truck new. It's a little of a wierd deal; silverado with 400 and TH350 2:76 posi factory tach, A/C cruse delay wipers but no power window or locks.

Re: New to this forum here's my truck
I had one somewhat like this it was a 77 swb 4x4 silver and white two tone.. it had a weird blue int combo with the lowback buckets seats factory tach, windows locks delays with tilt and cruise.. duel tanks ect.. it was a 400 small blk, rare truck.. I have seen black and silver combo, on the 79-80 with the white int. combo good choice of colors and powertrain combo.. good luck!!!

Re: New to this forum here's my truck
Johnny, All I meant was that I prefer the 1979, 1980 Chevy Silverados, GMC Sierra Grande/Sierra Classic, fully loaded two-toned paint, stock looking vintage square bodied trucks. That was just my opinion though. I love the look of your truck with fresh paint on it. Just like new!! Is your 4x4 a 1979 or 1980?
