It lives--- sort of

After months of things going wrong with this truck, finally finished my engine swap. Drove it around the block a couple of times and find out it probably needs to come back out. I bought the engine used (yea, I know) big cam (sounds great) but sucks with the stock converter. Also has a lot of blow by. It came with a 3500 stall converter that I didnt use but with the cam, looks like I need to swap converters now. Guess I should have saved enough for a complete rebuild instead of buying a used engine, But at least it moves under its own power again. Sorry just venting ,it was hot out, why did I do this in July ?

Well at least it moved under its own power and there's the thrill of accomplishment. Most of us have had to do at least something over more than once. Post up some pics when you can.

Sorry to hear the news. I just about have my engine back together and ready for the I6 to V8 swap but 95 degrees and high humidity I'm not looking forward to it either.
