Re: are these rare 60s 70s hub caps??

Oddly enough, I have two of these exact hub caps as well and have no idea what they were from. I got em in a box of stuff when I bought another hood for my truck.

I remember those with yellow highlights on a square with the round eye front end that a friend had. 73-77 sounds right.

for a price this would end up being a WIW thread(what its worth) and for that you have to be a paid member.

Re: are these rare 60s 70s hub caps??

Don't go away mad... What else do you need to know?
- you have 2 caps from 67-72 from and 2 caps from 73-77
which gives you a 10 year range in which they were used. They were common as all get out. Nicer than the old dog dish caps, but not quite as nice as the rally wheels. That gives you more than you need to do some digging. ie:
Google 'em and I expect you will be able to get to an average price pretty easy. I searched "77 chevy truck hubcaps"
http://www.hubcapzone.com/chevytrucks.htm
- this guy has em,and shows 'em 1969-1982 for 55.00 each.
This post isn't in the WWW area, but I wouldn't be surprised if every hubcap joint you called didnt have at least a few....

Yes that is correct yellow inserts from 73-77 used on cheyenne's and super's from 73-74 and silverado's from 75-77. the blue was started on the 71's I think.. good luck on your sale e-bay would be a good place to start....
