Re: i need some help

'95 should be a 4l60e,if it's the original tranny. Scanner may or may not diagnose a problem with the shifting. Your VIN ,compnine.com, will give you detailed info on your truck. Interior, paint codes, engine, tranny, gear ratio's and even how many of that particular build were built. RESEARCH, there is a lot of info on the net. You just have to dig and skulk around the net.

Re: i need some help

Not much on the 480LE but can you manually shift through all the gears?

Re: i need some help

Could be the shift solenoids or it could be something as simple as changing the tranny fluid. Scan that rascal! Tranny shop is next stop.

Re: i need some help

You need to do some research online. gmtruckhq.com The shift solenoids are on bottom on tranny but you have to pull the pan and really know what you are looking for before you start fiddling around with things. There are manuals for the 4l60e but they are shop repair manuals and not knowing what you are doing can cause you a lot of grief!!!!!
