Unfortunately, it's kind of a vague question so there might not be much response. You should be able to tell where (if) any holes needs to be drilled once you start installing the coil specific suspension brackets.
Check w/board member Gringoloco. He can prob shed some light on the swap.

As for a difference between the 2 suspensions on the same truck? The coils (especially w/air bags swapped in place) will offer better ride quality. I used 2 swb trucks (1 w/leafs suspension; the other w/coils) to tow the same 18ft car hauler. The coil set-up rode better loaded & un-loaded.

Re: pics needed, 72 chevy coil to leaf springs
my dad had bought a new 72 lwb truck when i was younger,,, i did pull a 67 chevelle with it when i raced,, it done a good job but did sway somewhat,,, now i have a swb 72 thats been lowered 2 and 4,,,, i think i can swap to leafs cheaper than buying bags and all,,,,, sell my rear springs and buy lower shackles
and take a spring or 2 out and still ride as good as the coils and not have the sway,,,, my trailors right now is 18 ft but going to extend to 23ft too haul a car and golf cart so it will be a good heavy load.... but i will not always be useing the truck to haul i do have an 05 crew cab chevy truck i do use until now,, it sure does have alot of room inside it... hey thanks tho....

Re: pics needed, 72 chevy coil to leaf springs
All of this work for a 1/2 ton short wheel-base truck? Pulling a 23ft trailer with a racecar and a golf cart? ...and you are thinking about removing leaves?
Too much load, not enough truck......and waaay not enough brakes.
