rear drum fitment ?
So i was wondering if the drums from a 12 bolt rear will fit a 10 bolt rear? A buddy of mine lost a wheel on his 87 k5 while coming to my house and we have been having problems finding good drums for it. Either the drums have been already stripped off or they are for a 2wd or an 88-98. We got some drums from a 93 with a 10 bolt but they don't fit because the center of the axle is 3.5 inches and the drums are 3.08 inches. Could i modify the ones we got or can i use some from a 12 bolt?

Re: rear drum fitment ?
You have probably spent more money in time looking for a used one than what a new one cost.
The rear drums are the same from '77 - '87 on Blazer 4x4's and K-10 pickups. Shouldn't cost much more than about $75 new. |
