New "old Chevy commercial.

I saw a cool commercial tonight.; Tried to locate it on the web, Chevy site and You Tube..couldn't find it. It showed a young family, guy, wife and son and the old Chevy pickup is in a garage with the mechanic telling him to remove all his stuff from it. Obviously the truck broke down and the cost was more than the "worth" of the truck.

So the guy opens the glove compartment and removes the items. One of the items is a photo of him and his dad with the truck when he was about the same age that his son is now. He looks in the review mirror and sees his son looking through the back window of the truck. The next scene is him handing a blank, signed check to the mechanic saying "just fix it".

Anyway, while looking for that commercial I found this one... I know there was a thread a while back about trucks and dogs.....:

Re: New "old Chevy commercial.

Its a good commercial, and I understand. My truck isn't a hand me down, but my father and I have put a lot of time into it together, kind of father son bonding, but with more cussing when things don't go right

Anyway, I couldn't bring myself to ever sell it. Maybe one day I'll be able to pass it onto a son/daughter if I ever have one.
