So Cal 68 Custom Camper
Here is my new project! She's a 68 c10 custom camper (minus the camper) i will probably be working on for the next century or so. Picked it up on Sunday and finally had the chance give it a thorough inspection today. Looks like it originally had a 396 but somewhere along the line it recieved a 350 in its place (bummer). It does still have the original sm456, 12 bolt rear end, so thats pretty cool. Ill probably keep the 8 lug wheels on it rather than a 5 bolt swap. 8 lugs just scream Heavy duty to me i love it. It needs alot more work than i expected. Lots of rust repair and probably a new right fender looks like somebody had good intentions but was never taught how to do things right. The fan was on backwards, radiator was repaired with RTV, and most of the holes in the heads are stripped out. It sounds kind of like a lawn mower with all the exhaust leaks. She runs and drives but im sure the neighbors hate me because of how loud and ugly(to them) it is. Gonna be a slow project based on budget but it will come around eventually. Tell me what you think!

Re: So Cal 68 Custom Camper
Just realized my title may be confusing. The truck is from Colorado and now lives with me in California.
