Sad but good day all in one...
So after managing to keep my first car I ever purchase for more than 13 years, I no longer own it. I sold my 1961 Apache, I've been posting an ad on Craigslist for a couple of months now mostly bluffing myself. But a friend of my father offered me close to what I wanting out of it. One of the bad things about today is that I'm currently deployed to a very "hot, sandy" place and will not be able to see my truck one last time before its gone. Just to let yal know I'm going to keep lurking around I have really enjoyed reading yal's builds they have honestly made me keep my truck a lot longer than I should have I've been in the military for 9 years now and honestly because of moving around so much do not have the time or space to build it like it should be.

Bummer. Sorry it had to go, but reality has a way of interfering. And building a vehicle in the military is doubly difficult. Just do the best you can to stay safe.

Sorry for your loss, but sometimes we sacrifice for what we love more than projects. If you decide to do a full 20, you will have plenty of time to build anything you want then.

I know the feeling all to well. I've got to figure out my contingency plan for moving my truck in case I get PCS'd to a different base in the next few months.

Re: Sad but good day all in one...
Sorry to hear you decided to let it go. But as said, it is more difficult for you, being deployed, to do much with it. Just another of the many sacrifices you military guys make, so the rest of us can enjoy our life here. Many thanks for your service
Stay safe over there.
