rusted crossmember

suprize suprize now besides my equalizer not working now i have a rusted crossmember the rear one that holds the back gas tank strap....thank god for the somewhat new straps the previous owner installed....it kept it up but now cant drive the truck, i know where im going to get the replacement but how difficult is it to replace it with the bed still on the truck, it does have the rancho rs6443 2 1/2" lift on it and while im in there im putting in a new tank, sending unit, fuel lines, and re doing my rear brake line please tell me im not the only one above the rust belt with this issue.....p.s. my truck has 214K on the clock so i do expect rust on it not like some people i have come across
