Please help! '72 c10 keeps draining my battery.
I am currently on my second battery for my '72 chevy c10. I just recently purchased the truck from a family member everything is original and for the most part works great. i have had the alternator tested and it tests exactly where it should be. i think possibly i could have a ground some where. ?????????????????????????????

Go to the search box at the top of this page and type "battery drain" and click on the 67-72 Chevy trucks.com button and click search. You'll get tons of pages on the subject.

Re: Please help! '72 c10 keeps draining my battery.
if original, there is an external voltage regulator.
You need to see if your battery is getting charged, or if you have a key off drain. |
