Door Seal

I installed new door seals. Were easy to install, but I think it is going to be difficult to close the door. I was going to install the latch and give it a good slam!

Is it normal that the doors are difficult to close after a new rubber seal is installed?

Any tricks to the installation?

Re: Door Seal

good luck getting your doors to close right I went through 3 sets before i got my gaskets to work i think the last set came from Steel Seal it seems like the after market seales are too thick i have to leave the floor vents open to let the air out because the seals are so tight

Re: Door Seal

Isn't that the point of installing new seals? So that they....... "seal"?

Keep the doors closed and they should conform somewhat.
