Still too much pain, yet enough drugs also make concentrating difficult.

I took mechanical drawing / drafting but I don’t member crap.

Can anyone point out the obvious on how to scale an image proper with a grid, to blow up said image?

Take an image 6in by 6in, break into a grid pattern, then re-draw the grid but 3ft by 3ft with same number of grid lines n a said spacing.

You then just “color” in each grid block according to the smaller image and walla, you have made a blown up copy with out any free hand.

Do I even make any sense? Not sure myself.

I just make a scan of the photo or dwg and blow it up on a xerox for smaller sizes. For large scale I xerox on a sheet of acetate and blow up full size with an overhead projector say if i am laying it out on a truck.

dont have access to either of those, want to put this image in a 3ft x 3ft area.

trying to make it easy with the grid block color filling.

do you have a ridgeways close by? if not go to kinkos and they can at least blow it up in sections that you can work with. we blew up logos from business cards this way to build signs when the customer did not have all the correct format If not I can do it for you and make a pattern. its not hard. i can copy it if you let me and blow it up

I member back in the day being able to do that, when the printer would wake the dead noise wise. U could print a giant sign n tape it together.

paint shop pro will let me size the image so its 3ft x 3ft but no way I can find to print it out that large on many pieces of paper........

Looks familiar. I have access to a plotter, so I can't give any advice other than proportions and free hand.

Started on the hood, pieced it together [22 standard sheet of printer paper], covered in tape and cut out. Then covered hood with tape and put down the template and pencil outline. Then cut out. Sanded hood.

Skull area will stay shiny paint, rest of the hood will be done in 2 part epoxy bed liner, will add texture.

Ok its done but the glue from the tape stuck to the hood and I gotta wait 24hrs before I can wash it off. Can't wait to see it cleaned up.
