Re: Hub Caps...Rims
You could have had 15x8 on 1/2 and 3/4 tons 16.5 x 9 3/4 .
Here is a 15x8 hub cap wheel. Scott

Re: Hub Caps...Rims
The 8x15s weren't offered from the factory, yet, but were available from the aftermarket. The floatation tire option gave you 10.00 x 16.5 tires mounted on 8.25 x 16.5 wheels on K/10s and K/20s. The 9.75x16.5s may have been available on the rear of C/20s and C/30s,if they were offered, but not on K-series. If not, there were a common aftermarket upgrade. When I say aftermarket I'm saying Kelsey-Hayes,who was the factory supplier.

Re: Hub Caps...Rims
Thanks for the replies....just picked up a pair of fairly mint front caps for my 72 and am watching on ebay.....360384741585.....starting at 125 bucks...thinking once I find some 15x8s rims, that I could mount a 33x12.50x15tire....would this combo work,or would the tires be to wide for them...running ralleys right now with this size.....Thanks......Chisler

Re: Hub Caps...Rims
12.50 wide tire on a 8" wheel is just fine.No better choice that a steel wheel with caps.
