Another Longhorn Dually Check it out!

I saw this cruising searching for Longhorn parts. I have to say I'm not a fan of the rear fenders, but I still like the truck. As my wife said, "I wouldn't kick it out of the garage."

As far as the fenders...seen much worse... but seen better
I'd roll with it personally

I think I could live with them for a little while. It's not priced terribly either. Ole Lockdoc should snatch it up.

Re: Another Longhorn Dually Check it out!

I like it the way it is. If the fenders had the square corners rounded it would be even sweeter.

I think those alcoa rims probably cost more that my truck was. As far as the truck I think its a clean, dated look. I would put a car carrier behind it and pick up more projects.

Thanks Ryan, but it's too far away. If he would have used the correct rear axle he wouldn't need the fenders. Then I might have made the trip.

Anyways, it's too hot to sleep outside...

Luckily for you, it cooled down Leon. And I know a guy that will let you use his camper.

Are you talking about using one that would have tucked them under the bedsides and then just mini tub it? I saw one of those a while back and it just didn't look right to me.

Re: Another Longhorn Dually Check it out!

I believe he is running a cab & chassis rear...almost any other axle would require a wider fender than he is using now.

Re: Another Longhorn Dually Check it out!

It looks to me like all these trucks are running cab & chassis rears. Look at that blue 4wd,you can't get any narrower than that. That one is WOW! The Longhorn looks squatted and would look better sitting up more. I like a lowered 2wd but in this case it hurts the look. It needs to look like it can haul something.
