Re: venders close to east coast
GMC Pauls is in Indiana, great to deal with. Also Classic Parts is in Kansas City I believe, not the East Coast but closer than Cali...

Re: venders close to east coast
I have great dealing with Bill Athey (atheys classic trucks in Front Royal VA) Board Name PICKUPMAN. MGBMIKES, and CLASSIC HEARTBEAT (WES). Bill is on the east coast, but the other two are across the states. I have dealt with others on the board and I cant claim that the results were good for me so for the most part my business goes to these guys above.

Re: venders close to east coast
I'm still waiting for a reply to an email I sent to Top banana about a month ago. I guess it got lost in cyberspace. Will try again...
I too would love to find a vendor within driving distance for big parts. There is only one that I know of nearby (35 miles away) an he's a PITA. Everytime I order something, he strings you along saying "it will be here in 2 days" but of course, it never is. It's usually a month later you actually get the stuff. It's aggravating!!!!! While we're on the subject, are there any vendors from here that will be going to the fall Carlisle that actually has the inner cowl panel for these trucks at a decent price? They sell for $195-$315 in my research (not sure why the big difference, could be one of the great mysteries of our time) but the shipping is a killer. Some say they can ship UPS III and others insist on truck shipping. Truck shipping is a joke at $150 or higher! CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS PART?

Re: venders close to east coast
I got my inner cowl panel from Southern KY Classics. It was only $195 when i bought it and I picked it up in person to avoid shipping cost. Give them a call and they can tell you what it would cost to ship to PA...

Re: venders close to east coast
Couldn't have been me. ?? I was going to make the drive to Carlisle for the truck nationals if he could get one but I never heard back.
I'd still be willing to make that drive for the fall Carlisle if possible.

Thanks Tim. This part has been "elusive" to say the least.
