Post WANTED-SOURCE FOR 87 8FT BEDS

Anyone know dealers of new or excellent rust free 87 8 ft truck beds? Does any company build them? Why not?

john, i see you are in Mass. right ? I'm sure non rusted ones are pretty hard to find there. The only thing I could suggest is Fall Carlisle,Pa. coming at end of Sept. There is a guy who brings them up from down south to his Maryland body shop and sells them there .but he gets $ 800+ now for a clean one .If you happen to need a cab also I have an entire 83 VERY SOLID truck and 8' bed here in southern ,N.J. that i would let you have for $850 with 2 decent doors all i want off is the rallys.I have been debateing to fix this truck but if i get what i want I would let it go as is for that .it also has a good tailgate with trim panel and tilt column.4 headlight front clip is Perfect also.If you know what GM sheetmetal is selling for now than you could probably make all your money back 'up there' selling off the rust free parts .The bed has a few battle scars but no rust at all anywhere and the cab corners only have a quarter sized hole with nothing at all underneath. motor/trans is shot. If you are not interested in that then i could get you the number of the guy in Maryland. I'm at all4trux@snip.net or
