Engine Compartment Pics

The PO of my truck detailed the engine compartment and painted the engine (350) the correct original colors. The only thing that looks wrong to me is the crankshaft pulley (timing wheel). He's got that painted the same orange/red as the engine. Does anyone know the factory correct color for this part?

How about posting up some pics of detailed / restored to original engine bays?

Re: Engine Compartment Pics

If hou are talking about the Harmonic balancer, then yes it is engine color. But pullies should be black.

I'm talking about the wheel that has the timing mark for use with a timing light. Not sure of the correct name...

Yup. I just found the definitive answer to my question on another post. You're right, it's supposed to be red/orange. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1312942543
